A person was hurt following a shooting on the Bay Bridge Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP said the shooting was reported around 4:06 a.m. on eastbound I-80, east of Treasure Island, on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
Authorities said the victim reported he had sustained a gunshot wound in the leg and was self-transporting to a local hospital for treatment.
CHP said all eastbound lanes of I-80 on the Bay Bridge were closed for approximately an hour due to the investigation. An additional search was conducted just after 2 p.m., which closed eastbound lanes for around 30 minutes, CHP added.
Authorities said they are working to identify the suspects in the incident and asked anyone with information to contact the CHP tip line at 707-917-4491.
