INDIANAPOLIS — Indy@Nite is shining a spotlight on Clowes Memorial Hall this week as comedian Nikki Glaser kicks off a two-night run filled with laughs, music and a lively pre-show atmosphere.
“It’s night one of two for Nikki Glaser being here,” said Mallory Doyel, director of event marketing. “She’s been here before; she was here a couple of years ago. So we’re really excited to have her back. People can expect to have a really good time when they come in.”
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to make the most of the experience. Doors open 90 minutes before showtime, allowing patrons to explore the venue’s offerings.
“We encourage people to get here when doors open… so that they can come experience everything Clowes has to offer and have a great time,” Doyel said, noting that a live DJ performs in the lobby before the main event.
Before the show starts, visitors can head to the lower level for additional entertainment in the Krannert Room.
“It’s open every show when we have a ticketed performance, when doors open,” Doyel explained. “And it’s just a little bit of added entertainment for our patrons.”
The venue recently underwent significant upgrades to enhance the guest experience. Clowes Memorial Hall was closed for three months this summer — from late June to mid-September — for renovations.
“We renovated our bathrooms. We renovated the box seats and we added some loading dock capacity to the back,” Doyel said.
For those looking to elevate their night out, the hall offers a premium option through its VIP donor lounge, the Marquee Club. With an annual donation of $350, donors and up to five guests with tickets to a performance can access the club, which features an open bar and open concessions.
With a live DJ setting the tone and Glaser bringing the comedy, the energy at Clowes Memorial Hall remains high.
